Bio

Giovanni Corti

Head of Systems & Integrations - EMEA

Giovanni holds a degree in Electrical Engineering (2008) and has more than 17 years of experience in nondestructive testing, with a strong specialization in ultrasonic methods. He is a Level III certified UT professional and has spent over a decade with Evident developing extensive expertise in phased array and advanced ultrasonic techniques. He currently leads the Systems and Integration division for Evident across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Stéphan Couture

Leader, Global Product Application

Stéphan worked in product development and as a product specialist for 9 years. In 2017, he transitioned to work in the inspection world to gather more applicative knowledge. In 2019, Stephan rejoined Evident as a leader for Global Advanced Product Application. Stephan is now supporting worldwide applications, trainings, and industry projects as an ultrasound advanced products specialist.

Ghislain Morais

Senior Application Engineer

Ghislain Morais is a Senior Application Engineer for Evident’s eddy current and bond testing product lines, a position he has held since 2012. He is responsible for global support training. Ghislain also shares his expertise on eddy current testing with the NDT industry by contributing to public NDT school and code committees of organizations including ISO, ASNT, and US National Steel bridge. Ghislain is also a member of ASTM E-07 committee, ASME surface group, ASME in-service group committees, and vice-chair at ASME method and technique. Before his career with Evident, he worked for 18 years in the aircraft maintenance business as a metallurgist and in NDT. He has experience and is certified in several NDT methods used in the aerospace industry.

Angelique Raude

Global Director, NDT Applications & Market Development

Angélique joined Evident in 2021 as Strategic Marketing Manager for the EMEA region, responsible for strategic positioning and related marketing activities of Evident EMEA’s NDT solutions. She now manages the NDT portable support team globally.

After obtaining a Master of Science in Mechanical and Material Engineering and a Master’s degree in NDT, she started her career as a project manager developing inspection techniques. With over 20 years of experience in NDT across many industries, she has held several positions, from developing inspection techniques to product manager to head of a product development team.

Although trained in many NDT techniques, Angélique specializes in electromagnetic solutions (conventional and advanced) and presided the ISO/TC135/SC4 committee in charge of ISO Eddy Current standards between 2016 and 2024. She now still contributes to international standards but also joined ASME, ASNT, and ASTM working groups.

Florin Turcu

Application Engineer

With a background in Physics and R&D in Guided Waves sensors, Florin Turcu started working for Evident in 2014 as an Application Specialist for Evident EMEA. Part of his activity with Evident involves customer support, training, and development of application solutions.
