Steam Generator
There are numerous pipes to visually inspect in a steam generator, and a video borescope is used to confirm whether there is any discoloration or corrosion of the support plates and the pipe exterior. Although the steam generator is located in the radiation contaminated area called the nuclear island, IPLEX video borescopes can be used for this application thanks to their high radiation resistance.

Interchangeable Scopes
The scope unit can be replaced when contaminated, without requiring replacement of the main unit of the video borescope. This is beneficial in terms of cost reduction.
